Twinkle & Tinsel come to Bristol...
Twinkle & Tinsel are coming to Bristol. Not only is it the girls debut exhibition of their tour ‘It Was the Best of Times, It Was the Worst of Times’ it's also their Bristol debut and we're delighted to invite them to the Long Arm Gallery.
Yep, once again we bring internationaly acclaimed artist to Bristol, and it's great in a male dominated world to have two ace girls for our next show stopping show (does that make sense?).
The title for the show itself was taken from a Charles Dickens novel and references their interest into British and English history. It’s a title which also alludes to how both feel about the state of modern British life today!
Both girls choose to focus on painting and their work, though produced individually, sits perfectly together, linked by it's strong sense of cultural observation and social commentary, plus both infuse their work with a definite use of satire & humour together with a distinct directness and love of bold colours.
